EATING DISORDER RECOVERY & BODY IMAGE COACHING
An eating disorder recovery coach is a professional who provides guidance, support, and encouragement to individuals who are recovering from an eating disorder or disordered eating. The Coach works with clients to help them establish a better relationship with food, their bodies, and their overall well-being. They provide emotional support, help clients navigate challenges related to food and body image, and assist in developing coping strategies to manage triggers and setbacks. The Coach works with clients one-on-one, offering personalized support tailored to your unique needs and goals. I also provide guidanceon building a support network, accessing appropriate therapeutic resources, anddeveloping strategies for maintaining recovery in the long term.

It’s important to note that eating disorder recovery coaches are not a replacement formedical or psychological treatment. Instead, they complement the work of therapists, dietitians, and medical professionals, offering a specialized form of support that is focused specifically on the challenges of eating disorder recovery. Their role is to provide motivation, accountability, and practical strategies for navigating the complexities of recovery, ultimately helping you move toward a healthier relationship with food and your body.

Overall, an eating disorder recovery coach plays a valuable role in providing on going support and guidance to individuals as they work towards healing and recovery from an eating disorder or disordered eating. What’s great about recovery coaching is that it’snot only for people who have struggled with an eating disorder. Whether you are stuck in the diet cycle, struggle with your body image or want to improve your relationship with food, a recovery coach can be there to guide you through this journey.
